Sunday Afternoon Stroll

It makes me so happy to be able to have some precious family
time on a beautiful (and hot!!!) Sunday afternoon
Can you believe this incredible setting is just minutes from our house
I have to always remember to be thankful for all that I have

Short & Sweet

Summer approaches and you just want to be footloose and fancy free. Landon has to go for his "summer buzz" as soon as school lets out and it is like he becomes this different little person full of energy and excitement. To me it is like shedding those wool sweaters that I just love and don't want to let go of but I know I will get them back out soon.
Isn't he cute!!

Ice Cream, you scream

I remember when I was my childrens age and I would hear the IceCream Truck coming down the street. We would get on our bikes and chase the truck down. I couldn't wait to get my bullet. Now as you can see Spongebob is the flavor of choice - does not look all that appetizing, but to a kid, I don't think it is about the taste but about the experience

Rain, Rain!!!!

Remember when you were a kid and jumping in puddles was the best? Some things never change. Kids are all the same and my children are no exception. As a child you had no fears, no worries just having fun and being silly. I wish we could all stay young. At least we have our memories.

Summertime is the best - spending the day swimming, splashing and just being together, today was not one of those days. Inside all day, Reece comes home sick with fever. Doesn't seem like a carefree summer day. Better luck tomorrow. Starting to work on our homemade gifts for Christmas and as the obsessed blog follower I have become - I read today to start a homemaker journal to pass down. Yeah I love projects. I am overwhelmed with crafts and projects to make. I think I have ADD, at any given moment I have 10 different crafts in the works. When will I have the time to 1st sit down without interruption of "Mommy come here" to actually work on one of them - just bring on more - the busier, the better!!!
